Food Production Supervisor - Night Shift

State of the art manufacturing facility employing 120, producing all natural butter products from pasteurized cream for private label, specialty packaging and signature branded products. The entire company produces 20% of the butter made in the US.
Responsibilities:
This position will supervise a production team of 20, department activities, providing work directions, preparing schedules, timelines, resolving issues to ensure timely completion of work. Assign responsibility for specified work and ensure plant policies are communicated to the team.
Shift runs 4:00 pm to 4:00 am.
Analyze production and personnel scheduling to ensure efficiency goals are achieved. Prepare reports on department activities for Supervisors and Plant Manager for planning production activities, new commitments, work in progress and downtime encountered.
Evaluate current procedures and practices in accomplishing department objectives and develop improved procedures and practices for review.
Qualifications:
1
year of production / supervisory experience. Ability to make sound decisions, work in a fast pace work environment and to work flexible schedules and weekends.
